We are a small department under Finance and Operations Division. EPMO’s goal is to support the college by offering project management support, training, tools, best practices, provide consistency in our project management approach, increase transparency and improve communication and reporting for ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº projects.
Who are the department members?
- LaMonica Whittaker – Director

What do we do? Here are some of our plans for this upcoming year:
- Create and make available project management templates to the entire ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº community to promote best practices for efficient and effective project management.
- Identify and recommend free project management software and increase knowledge of project management tools that ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº currently owns.
- Continue to improve the centralized Project Intake Request system and process to be more streamlined and customer friendly and meet the needs of all ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº stakeholders.
- Evaluate Project Portfolio Management Systems with other stakeholders with a plan to request funding in the FY24 cycle.
- Make EPMO Project Managers available for managing enterprise projects, based upon availability.
This summer, EPMO will provide customized training for ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº project leads that will include beginner project management training and additional training for current project managers. More information to follow about registering for training as we get closer to the dates.
