Values Shout Out: Kayla Fiedor
Nominated by Stacey Nash: The most recent incident in which Kayla went above and beyond was on April 26 when our campus lost internet after a power test. When we called the IT help desk, they stated there was a mandatory meeting at 9 a.m. and they would get to the issue in the afternoon. Our center administers exams for a variety of vendors and occupations. Kayla came running into the building (backpack on her arm) and started working on solving the problem. Kayla has tested in our testing center before and knows the critical nature of the issue. She resolved the issue in about an hour and received a standing ovation from me and the waiting test takers. Kayla has rescued our testing center before and is always responsive, funny, kind, and resourceful. She told us that when she heard about the issue at our testing center she dropped what she was doing and came over. Â She understood how impactful no internet was and took the initiative to come and help us out.
