Values Shout Out: David Heddens
Nominated by Dani Adams and Erin Johnson-Kraft: New to the CIPR team this year, Dave has proven exceptionally courageous in his approach. Dave took initiative from the get-go (literally only a few weeks into the job) to learn and understand the overarching goals of CIPR, a complex process. His role includes extracting and integrating a large amount of program review data from multiple sources, which included the mid-year transition from Banner to Workday. This behind-the-scenes transition required him to rework several of the previous data queries while simultaneously documenting and learning what was completed the prior year. Dave embraced these challenges with courage, curiosity, and positivity and ultimately made the rest of the team feel confident that things were moving in the right direction. We would not be able to conduct this year's program review cycle without his fearless dedication and innovation, and we truly appreciate having him on the CIPR team!
