Multifactor Login Changes Starting May 9
Changes to Authentication Methods - We’re phasing out less secure MFA options to strengthen your login security. Although this policy will not be enforced until May 9, we recommend you make the necessary changes on your account as soon as possible.
- Text messages, email codes, and phone calls will no longer be supported as second factor methods.
- (Recommended) Microsoft authenticator app: , go to your , and Add a sign-in method. See for details.
- (Alternate) Security key: To obtain a USB YubiKey, or visit the TSTC on Main Campus, SRC 109. See the for set up instructions. Please note, the initial device is free; cost for a replacement is $60-75.
MFA Still Required More Frequently for Certain Systems - You’ll still need to complete MFA when logging in to the following systems, regardless of location: VPN, VDI, and Salesforce.
No MFA on Campus - When you’re connected to ÎçҹӰԺ’s campus network, you will not be prompted for MFA except when using the systems listed above.
