ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº Launches ROC, New Performance Management Process for Staff

What is ROC? Recognizing Our Contributions, or ROC, is ÎçҹӰԺ’s new employee performance management system in Workday that focuses on employee anticipated contributions to ÎçҹӰԺ’s mission, vision, culture, and strategic direction.

ROC is now live in Workday for staff and will replace any current performance review process being used. Currently, ROC is active for ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº staff only; ROC for Faculty will launch at the end of Spring 2026.

Why ROC? We’ve heard your feedback! Based on employee surveys and focus groups, we’ve heard the request for better supervisor feedback. We’ve heard that ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº employees want to see their connection to ÎçҹӰԺ’s Mission.

  • ROC can enhance your experience working at ÎçҹӰԺ—see your positive impact and develop in your role
  • ROC will document your achievements and accomplishments over time; it can be used to help you excel in your current role and potentially advance in your career at ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº.
  • ROC provides a consistent and streamlined process for employee performance review.

The goal is for all employees and supervisors to complete these steps in Workday by Sept. 15. Everyone who completes these tasks by Sept. 15 will be entered in a drawing to win cool prizes!
