Insurance Carriers and Options

ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº employees have multiple medical, dental, and vision insurance options to fit their individual and family needs

ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº shares in the cost of medical, dental and vision plans with employees. Employees pay either 20%, 25% or 35% of total monthly premiums, based on their ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº annual salary.


ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº offers both pre-tax and post-tax options for premiums. 

ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº offers its employees the following types of insurance, each type's insurance carrier options, and the options offered by each respective carrier: 

Medical and Prescription

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico
    • High Option: lower calendar-year deductible with higher monthly premiums
    • Low Option: higher calendar-year deductible with lower monthly premiums
  • Presbyterian Healthcare
    • High Option: lower calendar-year deductible with higher monthly premiums
    • Low Option: higher calendar-year deductible with lower monthly premiums

Both carriers offer a nationwide PPO plan including exclusive extras and perks to help
manage overall health. 

Dental

  • Delta Dental
    • Basic – Covers preventative services such as exams, evaluations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions
    • Comprehensive – Covers major services such as crowns, dentures, implants, braces and more

Both options are under a nationwide PPO network where benefit levels are enhanced when a Delta Dental PPO Provider is selected.

Vision

  • Davis Vision
    • plan covers 1 eye exam + lenses or contacts every 12 months and frames every 24 months 

This plan is a co-pay structure for typical services and materials, with discounts for non-covered materials and amounts that exceed the plan limits.
