The ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº Global Education application process is separated into two phases. After completing the necessary steps in Phase One, a Global Education staff member will be in contact with you about Phase Two.
Be prepared for Phase Two by having access to the following items:
- Supporting Documentation
- Passport and Visas
- Proof of Health Insurance
- Proof of Financial Support

As part of the I-20 supporting documentation, you need the following documentation.
Passport and Visa
- a copy of the photo page of your valid passport. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from your date of arrival at ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº.
- copies of any previous or current U.S. visas
All international students studying at ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº are required to maintain health insurance coverage during all semesters of study.
Our minimum requirement in addition to a traditional Health Insurance Plan is:
- Emergency Medical Evacuation $50,000
- Emergency Reunion $1,000 lifetime maximum
- Repatriation of Remains $25,000
ÎçÒ¹Ó°Ôº Global Education recommends , which combines affordability with sufficient minimum coverage.Ìý
Proof of purchased health insurance is required along with the other listed documentation.Ìý
The U.S. government requires that all international applicants provide proof of expenses including tuition, books, medicalÌýinsurance, and travel for the academic year they are attending. This requirement is forÌýyouÌýand your dependents (if applicable) before an I-20 can be issued.
All financial documents must have:
- Current date (no earlier than three months)
- Account holder’s name
- Documents must be on official letterhead and include a signature or stamp of an administrative official
- The available final balance/ total scholarship amount
- Certified professional translations for all financial documents not issued in English
If the account holder is someone other than the student, a sponsorship letterÌýmust be included. The letter must state the account holder and student’s name, current date, and relationship betweenÌýthe student and their sponsor. We will need a copy of the student's driver'sÌýlicense or copy of their passport to verify their signature.
The following items are accepted forms of financial documentation:Ìý
- Bank letters or statements from savings and checking accounts. If a monthly bank statement is provided, only the closing balance of the most recent date will be counted.Ìý
- Funds in investment accounts
- Approved educational loans
- Employer and government sponsorships or scholarships
