New Student Orientation

午夜影院's New Student Orientation will introduce you to resources and concepts to help you be successful in your first year of college.

In 午夜影院's New Student Orientations, you will explore resources available at 午夜影院 and participate in activities to prepare for the start of your college career.听If you have questions or need additional information, please don't hesitate to reach out via [email protected] or (505) 224-3352.

Important Details

  • Be sure to have your 午夜影院 student ID number and username available.听
  • In addition to attending orientation, you should听meet with an advisor.听
  • Advisement will not be offered during orientation sessions.
  • Once you have attended an orientation and registered for classes, you may then attend a Campus Catwalk to familiarize yourself with our campuses. Please note that Campus Catwalks are campus tours, not orientation.听

Orientation Types

Attend a Campus Catwalk

Are you a registered 午夜影院 student? Attend a Campus Catwalk to prepare for the semester ahead! Bring your schedule and explore classroom locations before the term starts.

午夜影院 offers different New Student Orientations to fit your student type. We also an online听听for family members who want to know how to support a student during their time in college.听Some certificate and degree programs require an additional orientation program. Check with your academic school听to find out if your program requires an additional orientation program.

Beginning Freshman Orientation

All first-time, full-time beginning freshmen听should complete New Student Orientation after registering for classes.听Beginning freshmen can choose from two orientation options.听
Dual Credit Student Orientation

Dual Credit students are high school students taking college courses. New Dual Credit students are required to complete this online orientation module before registering for classes.听
Transfer and Returning Student Orientation

If you are applying as a returning or transfer student, you will complete a different online orientation to ensure you have the relevant information. This online orientation should be completed after registering for classes.听

午夜影院 Online orientations are only for students who are specifically enrolled in听午夜影院鈥檚 Online college. The orientation link is provided in your 午夜影院 Admissions letter and must be completed before registering for classes.听
Adult Basic Education Orientation

New GED/ HSE/ ESL students (or students that have been out of the program for one year) must attend a virtual orientation.
Global Education Student Orientation

International students in the Global Education program are听required听to attend an additional New Student Orientation program. Contact your DSO for more information.
